THE SELECTION PROCESS

Hundreds of highly skilled players from various youth leagues across the country will compete for a football opportunity of a lifetime. Our selection process empowers players, coaches, parents, teachers and fans to help draft the East and West teams. The Jockstarzz Bowl Scout Team led by NFL Alumni and College Hall of Famer Bennie Blades, Olympic Medalist Ato Boldon, and a host of top high school coaches, and sports writers will evaluate and scout players throughout the 2010 football season in search of the 2011 Jockstarzz First Round Draft Picks. A process of elimination through a number of phases including academic standing, interviews, regular season game day play, highlight review, and strong recommendations from teachers and coaches sees hundreds of super talented youth culled down to an elite group of play makers.

The First Round Draft picks are comprised of the consensus votes of fans, players, teachers and coaches. Each group’s vote counts one-fourth towards selecting the 35 man rosters that will travel to Orlando to represent the East and the West in the annual Jockstarzz Bowl. The rosters will be announced November 02, 2010.

The Jockstarzz Bowl Second Round Draft Picks will be determined by our scout team based upon the total number of athletes being considered. All athletes that are not drafted in the first or second round will be listed on our  Honorable Mention roster.
